The Mystery of Healing

We are designed to be
self-healing,
but results vary.

A macho man can die
from an infected thumb,
a cancer-riddled crone
may carry on for decades.

Sometimes God seems to take
a special interest.
When people get better
unexpectedly,
we ask:
Miracle -- or misdiagnosis?

There must be rules,
but how do we apply them?

Despite the propaganda,
"only believe"
is not a magic key.

Faith runs deeper than placebos.

Sometimes God takes a special interest, most times not.

You see, he/she created a universe designed to hold itself together by various laws of nature. But we don't bother to discover how these apply to us as mere mortals/sparrows in the universe. We are too busy attempting to exploit nature for our own means (mostly greed-based).

So, God gets weary and disinterested. Why bother with these egocentric mortals?

They claim God says they are to attend church one day of the week, but God never said that. And he/she never, never said to attend church and spread your flu symptoms....

All the sources of our healing can be found within the dimensions of God's universe -- God's NATURAL universe, not the one mortals have recreated in their own image.

It's about time for those annual walks and relays for this dread disease and that. Did you sign up? Did you contribute your pence? Did you smile for the news photographer who records this wonderful event that raised bunches of money supposedly for research, but actually for administrative overhead in ponderous agencies where employees are cast aside (i.e., retired or "let go") when they come down with one of the dread diseases and their work performance falls. Or, worse yet -- they must spend time out of the office getting treatments for said dread disease.

God has a right to lose interest in a world which no longer represents "the image" in which it was created.

Looking at a reverse reflection of this image reveals a Creater with all the negative characteristics of that once-favored creation known as LUCIFER.

No wonder he/she needs all those frocked PR agents who pontificate from the pulpits on a weekly basis.

Pax Vobiscum
Deirdre
